How a verification works

Four steps, from your question to the customer’s answer.

  1. Request

    Your system sends a question through the Verifiero API, for example: is the customer over 18?

  2. QR or link

    The customer gets the request through a QR code or a link to the app.

  3. Approval

    The customer sees the question in the Verifiero app and approves.

  4. Answer

    You get the answer “Over 18: yes”, not name or date of birth.

How many data items do you need to receive per verification?

An illustrative example. When you ask only the question you need, such as “over 18: yes or no”, you receive fewer data items per check than when you collect copies of ID documents.

How we count: data items per check is an assumed average across the situations you tick. Adding situations therefore changes the average; they are not added together.

Illustrative example with an assumed number of data items per check (name, date of birth, address, ID number etc.). It is not a quote or a guarantee, and even an answer can count as personal data. Actual results depend on your solution.
