The customer has a verified profile
They registered once in the Verifiero app with a passport, ID card or driver’s licence and biometrics.
You request an age check
Your site, app or checkout sends a request via API: is this person over 18?
The customer approves, you get the answer
The customer sees what is requested and approves. You get a yes or no, not a name or date of birth.

Frequently asked questions about age verification
What do we get back from an age check?
An answer to the question you ask, for example that the person is over 18. You don’t receive name, date of birth or address unless you explicitly request it and the user approves.
Which ID documents are supported?
Users register with a passport, ID card or driver’s licence. Verifiero’s technology supports the international passport standard and is technically compatible with documents from over 250 countries and territories.
How do you know the person is the one showing the ID?
At registration a biometric face scan ties the ID document to the person. That makes it harder to use someone else’s ID.
How do we integrate?
Through our API. The documentation is on SwaggerHub and we help you with onboarding.
What does it cost?

Where is the data stored?
